During my early childhood, I often went to children’s club for personal development after school while my parents were at work. They found out about this only when I was in high school.
How would you describe the culture and people at Grant Thornton?
In my opinion, the corporate culture of Grant Thornton could be described as open for communication and sharing ideas at the workplace and at the same time having a strong organizational structure.
What lessons have you learned during your time with the company?
Before working at GT, I was working in business industry and now this fact allows me compare two sides of accounting. Becoming an auditor requires to be more flexible, responsible and to value my time.
How does Grant Thornton help you achieve your career goals?
There is a significant difference between Who I am now and Who I was when I came to Grant Thornton. During my time with the Grant Thornton, I started building career goals and begun wanting to pass ACCA exams.
What’s the best piece of advice you've received while working with Grant Thornton?
Never forget about balance and priorities betweenfamily and work.
